The fine folks at Logic Cafe released another classic drum machine, the EMS VCS-3, in EXS24 format for free download.  In their post, they say “The EMS VCS-3 was first released in 1969 and to this day remains a highly sought after sound module. With its wooden housing and angular design, coupled with the unique patchbay and joystick, the EMS VCS-3 looks cool enough to find a home in any studio.”  The synth was a very popular module, “used by artists such as Brian Eno, Tangerine Dream, Pink Floyd, Stereolab, Yes, Aphex Twin, Autechre, Jean-Michel Jarre, Astral Projection, Klaus Schulze, Depeche Mode, Vince Clarke, Add N to (X), The Who, Todd Rundgren, Recoil, Freddy Fresh.”
